I think I really have several favorite movies, just the same as I have several favorite songs. Let's see if I can figure out what those movies are...
To start: Hot Fuzz. Dan and I saw it together on our first date, and he later told me that it was a meter for testing whether our relationship would work or not. It's turned out to be one of my favorites!
I don't remember who I was with the first time I saw Bobby, but I remember that when the end came, I just sat in the theatre crying. I've loved the movie ever since then. It's one that I always forget to put on my wish list for Christmas too...
I only watched my first Bond movie shortly after Casino Royale came out, but I fell in love with it right away.

I have several favorite songs, but lately, Streetlight Manifesto has been at the top of my list as far as bands go, and this song is definitely one of the best.
On a totally different note, The Decemberists are one of my favorite bands as well. When I first bought this album, I listened to this song over and over. I don't know if it's my favorite of their songs, but I do really really like it.
Iron & Wine generally has a really folky soft sound, but one this album, the Shepherd's Dog, there is a much different sound. I like all of it, but this song was so catchy that I couldn't stop listening to it
On a harder note, I also enjoy bands like System of Down
And Even more punk related music like Anti-Flag
And finally, back to the Ska sound, the song I would really love to use for the first Dance in our wedding, but I think it's a little too fast. I love the lyrics though, and "Keep it Going" is one of my favorite albums of all time.
I've finished my sophomore year of college and I am jumping straight into my senior year. I will be graduating in May. I'm really excited about that. On June 18th, 2010 I will be getting married to my wonderful fiance, Daniel Crouse. I absolutely cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with him. I've already bought my wedding dress: The bridesmaids are wearing these ones: We will be moving out of Wisconsin shortly after our wedding in order for him to attend grad school, however we are not certain about where that will be yet. We just know that he isn't applying to any schools in the state. I got my wisdom teeth out today, so I look like a chipmunk. It was not that bad. I had a hard time with it this morning, because the numbness did not last the 4 hours that the doctor said it would, but rather about 30 minutes. I was in a lot of pain until I could stop the bleeding to take some pain meds. Then I went to sleep. Dan made me potatoes though, so all was right with the world.
I think I may start using this again, as an alternative to my livejournal, which so many more people read.... but then again, maybe not....?
I guess we'll start with the basics? I'm back at school, working as an RA. I like it a lot, but it leaves me with very little time. I am also getting paid next to nothing for it, which leaves me with no money for anything outside of necessities. I have also been sick for probably half the school year. I don't know where this is coming from, since I was almost NEVER sick last year. I have already had a cold-like thing that lasted for a few days, and it was awful. Then I got sick at the beginning of the week with fatigue, a fever, and a sore throat. It mutated into me losing my voice, and eventually getting pink eye in my left eye, which has, this fine morning, spread into my other eye. I am somewhat less than pleased, as I just washed all my bedding in an attempt to get rid of this sickness. I'm sure it has something to do with my eating habits, sleep schedule and stress level. I am lucky if I get three meals, all of which are college food, I rarely get to bed before 2, and I am ALWAYS stressed to no end because of due dates for work and school and trying to keep up with a relationship on top of it. I hope I start getting it together soon, because all of this stuff is hard enough without being sick too.
